Crafted for precision in a compact footprint, the SRM5E is a 5kg (12 lb) fluid-bed roaster built for serious production environments. It delivers full control through real-time thermal data, IT/BT/Fan profiling, and automated curve tracking with manual override when needed. The result is repeatable, production-grade roasting with the responsiveness and consistency typically found in much larger systems, without the space, cost, or inefficiency.

WHAT makes the SRM5E different

Most “air roasters” are adapted systems. The SRM5E is not. It is a purpose-built fluid-bed platform engineered for specialty coffee from the ground up. Every design decision drives thermal stability, lower maintenance, and precise, repeatable flavor development across a true 5kg (12 lb) batch capacity.

IT/BT Control & Automated Profiling

Control the roast directly through inlet temperature (IT) and track progress with real-time bean temperature (BT). Set and adjust airflow through fan speed targets alongside heat, giving you precise control over both energy and bean movement. The result is tighter control, faster response, and fully repeatable automated profiles.

FOUR 2mm ThermocoupleS

Bean, environmental, and metal temperature are tracked in real time. The metal probe drives the BBP protocol, locking in consistent charge conditions for tighter control and repeatable roasting.
